Brazil Industrial Production (Nov.)

The 0.1% m/m fall in Brazilian industrial production in November and the weak surveys for December provide further evidence that the economy is in the midst of a slowdown. But the central bank will wait for further signs of inflation approaching target and, perhaps more importantly, easing fiscal risks before turning to interest rate cuts.
