Homebuilders benefiting from lower distressed supply

The continued drop in the supply of distressed homes on the market is encouraging homebuilders to break ground on more sites. Admittedly, with a substantial overhang of properties still in the shadow inventory, distressed sellers are not about to become a thing of the past. But the peak in distressed supply would appear to be behind us, meaning that residential construction activity will keep improving.
