New Home Sales (Oct.)

The modest increase in new home sales in October, which only occurred because September’s reading was itself revised downwards, is consistent with a subdued new homes market. Nevertheless, with credit conditions loosening, employment growth strong and wage growth finally showing signs of a pick-up, we expect new home sales to perform much better over the next year or two.
