The impact from Brexit is being felt in the mortgage market. Mortgage interest rates have dropped on the back of a decline in Treasury yields, which has given refinancing activity a boost. Rates are likely to edge down further in the short term, but rising inflationary pressure will force the Fed to act sooner than many expect. And that will help push mortgage rates up by the end of the year.
