Case-Shiller Prices / New Home Sales (Jun./Jul.)

New home sales reversed part of June’s sharp fall in July, and alongside a surge in existing sales that has led to the tightest market conditions in a decade. Surprisingly, those tight conditions have yet to feed through to the Case-Shiller measure of house prices, which once again recorded a very modest gain of just 0.1% m/m in June.
