Case-Shiller House Prices (Q2)

With the economy weakening again, confidence falling and the labour market recovery faltering the rise in Case-Shiller house prices in the second quarter probably does not mark the end of the housing downturn. Even if it did, a persistent lack of demand means prices are unlikely to rise significantly until 2014 at the very earliest.
