The latest RICS survey suggests activity is increasing at its fastest rate for several years, though these results should still be read with caution as the UK moves out of lockdown. Nonetheless, market sentiment is clearly recovering from April’s lows. And this was before the Chancellor’s stamp duty cut, which is likely to reinforce evidence that the housing market recovery may be stronger than expected.
