CML Lending Trends (2015 Q1)

Mortgage lending got off to a slow start in 2015, with advances for house purchase in the first quarter down by 9% on a year earlier. But there are signs that mortgage volumes are resuming their upwards trend, with loans to the buy-to-let sector outperforming both the first-time buyer and homemover sectors.
