Compared with recent quarters, the tone of the latest CBI/PwC Financial Services Survey was pretty weak. Of course, given the turmoil of the past few months, that is no major surprise. Even so, today’s survey data nevertheless tend to support anecdotal evidence that confidence in the ability of Central London office rents to continue to rise strongly may be wavering.
