Was the uptick in industrial yields unwarranted?

Forward-looking aspects of industrial and manufacturing surveys have acted as a fair lead indicatorfor industrial yield movements three and six months ahead. And, with the initial post-referendumshock now seemingly behind us, they suggest that, at least in the industrial sector, any yield increasesin Q3 should be seen as a one-off adjustment rather than the start of a sharp correction.
