Rising supply is no short-term threat to rents

The latest RICS survey painted a picture of increasingly robust occupier demand for commercial property in all sectors, with industrial faring particularly well. To be fair, the survey also showed that developers have begun to mount a widespread supply response. But that won’t prevent solid and broad-based rental value gains over 2014-15 and probably beyond.
