Retail warehouse rents are poised to recover, but slowly

The revival of housing market activity is likely to resume in the second half of the year and this shouldhelp to stimulate the retail warehouse occupier market. But given signs that rent-free periods havegrown in recent years, a stronger occupier market could first lead to a reduction in such leasingincentives, with the associated recovery in effective rents taking longer to show up in headline values.
