Is the case for London hotels as clear-cut as it seems?

The outlook for hotel property total returns over 2011/12 is widely considered to be better in London than in the regions. It is hard to argue with that assessment. However, there are reasons to be cautious about the longer term prospects for London hotels. What’s more, on a five-year view, the hotel sector as a whole is likely slightly to underperform the wider property market.
