Finally, permission-free conversions set to be allowed

Two years after the initial proposal, and having appeared to have gone cold on the idea in the meantime, the Government finally looks set to allow permission-free conversions of commercial property into residential use. This is a good move and we are optimistic that, in time, it will be viewed as a key change in planning policy.
