Indicators suggest that UK economic growth slowed towards the end of 2018, in part due to households and businesses delaying spending in response to Brexit-related uncertainty. This is likely to continue into the first part of 2019. But, once the Brexit fog lifts, we think that growth will recover. Our forecast is for GDP growth of 1.5% y/y this year.
