Policymakers in both Chile and Peru left interest rates unchanged last night, but we continue to expect monetary policy to be loosened next year as economic growth slows. We have pencilled in 50bp of cuts to 4% in Chile, while in Peru rates may be cut by another 25bp to 3.75%.
