Inflation pressures are building, but commodity shock temporary

The recent pick up of commodity prices, notably food, will probably drive inflation higher than we had previously expected this year. The good news is that the effects of the commodity price shock should prove to be temporary. The bad news is that, with capacity pressures building, core inflation will probably begin to accelerate later this year.
