We suspect that the interest rate cutting cycle in Colombia has come to an end. Admittedly, to the extent that there are changes in the next 6-9 months, rates are more likely to fall than rise. But our central scenario is for rates to remain on hold at 3.25% for an extended period and for policymaking to now focus on measures to stem the appreciation of the peso.
