Policy to remain loose for the foreseeable future

The Bank of Japan made it very clear that it will keep policy settings loose for at least another year. And while we expect GDP growth and inflation to disappoint, we think that concerns about the impact of loose policy on financial stability will prevent the Bank from lowering its policy rates any further.
