Despite a rebound over the past day or so, 10-year developed market government bond yields have fallen substantially in recent weeks. This has coincided with investors lowering their expectations for peak policy rates and anticipating subsequent rate cuts. We think this change in rate expectations has gone too far and will unwind over the rest of this year, driving sovereign bond yields higher.
