Little respite in sight for the euro

The euro’s slide against the dollar is unlikely to end any time soon. Admittedly, the exchange rate is already at a two year low. But an escalation of the euro-zone crisis and a deep recession should keep the heat on Europe’s single currency. We continue to expect the euro to drop to $1.10 by year-end and remain around that level in 2013.
