The third estimate of euro-zone GDP in Q3 confirmed that the 0.6% expansion was driven mainly by domestic demand. Timelier evidence suggests that the economy has performed well so far in Q4, setting it up for a strong 2018. We think that the economy will expand by 2.3% in both 2017 and 2018.
