One of the most striking aspects of Q3’s RICS global property survey was the marked improvement in surveyors’ expectations for German capital values. We find it hard to take issue with the new, more upbeat tone as it brings the survey broadly in to line with our own view that, in the near term, German capital values will receive a modest boost from falling yields.
