The balance of evidence suggests that conditions in the euro-zone economy improved a little further in Q1. However, convincing evidence that this is now feeding into a clear improvement in occupier market conditions is hard to come by. Nevertheless, the better economic data did support a higher level of property investment demand than in the same quarter of 2013, meaning that property yields either marked time or fell in all markets.
