December’s batch of manufacturing PMIs for Central Europe remain consistent with a further slowdown in industrial production growth over the coming months, although there are tentative signs that external demand is improving. Elsewhere, Turkey’s PMI suggests that the economic recovery is unlikely to gather much more momentum, but other indicators paint a more positive picture.
