Bank of Korea to leave rates unchanged for some time

The Bank of Korea (BoK) left interest rates on hold today and there was little indication in the governor’s accompanying press conference that the central bank is in any hurry to adjust policy. We continue to expect the policy rate to be kept at 1.25% throughout the rest of 2017 and 2018.
