Focus to shift back (at least briefly) to China

The key drivers of commodity prices in the past week have been the ebb and flow of expectations for US interest rates and speculation of tighter supply – the latter boosting US crude oil prices and key agricultural products in particular. However, ample supply continued to undermine the prices of iron ore, steel and aluminium.
