When will commodities find their feet?

As commodity prices continue to flash red, this Update summarises how we think things will play out from here. In the near term, we suspect that further price falls are in store, regardless of policy support. Instead, it will be signs that the virus is abating that spark a sustained rebound. But even if a recovery gets underway relatively soon, commodity prices are likely to end the year far below where they began.
