The price of major grains and soybeans are at near five-year lows thanks in part to another large upward revision in the USDA’s expectations for global crop output. However, assuming there is no severe adverse weather over the next month, we still think that the prices of US grains and soybeans will fall a little further as we approach harvests and the risk premium currently in prices diminishes.
