Corn prices yet to find their floor

The benchmark corn future in the US has already fallen by 50 cents to just over 600 cents per bushel after the world agricultural supply and demand report published yesterday by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) eased global production concerns. The analyst consensus appears to be that prices will now find a floor around this level and recover over the rest of 2012. However, we expect the benchmark corn price to drop as low as 500 cents.
