The faltering global economy has sent commodity prices tumbling and it seems unlikely they will rebound. Prices might rally initially in response to any further support provided by global central banks, but additional measures are unlikely to fuel a sustained recovery in global demand. We see commodity prices continuing to trend lower this year and next.
