Housing market cooling

The Bank of Canada's recent heavy hint that interest rates may need to rise soon already looks badly timed. Little more than a week after the release of its latest Monetary Policy Report, which suggested that the outlook for global economic growth had improved, the deterioration in the incoming economic data from the US, Europe and Asia paints a very different picture.
