Canada's economy is entering a slow growth zone. With external headwinds continuing to challenge exports and business confidence, stagnation in the domestic housing market is further casting doubt over the outlook for domestic demand. In addition, the federal government remains fully committed to spending restraint. Accordingly, after growing by roughly 1% in the third quarter, we expect the economy to grow by about the same modest rate for the whole of next year.
