GDP by Industry (Aug.)

The 0.2% m/m gain in August GDP, partly driven by the further recovery in oil extraction, all but confirms that the economy grew by close to 3.5% annualised in the third quarter following the wildfire-related disruption in the second. But with little scope for any further rebound in oil production, the concern now is that there are few other sectors able to drive growth.
