The economy failed to regain any momentum at the end 2017 with the production measure of GDP rising by a fairly subdued 0.6% q/q in the fourth quarter, as it did in the third. Looking ahead, we expect annual growth will average around 3.0% again this year, although the risks lie to the downside.
