London Housing Chart Book: London prices and transactions weaken

London’s owner occupier housing market performed poorly, as prices fell and transactions stayed in reverse gear. With house prices high and uncertainty continuing to bite, a recovery in prices and transactions looks a long way off. That said, the prospects for the rental market are gradually improving, driven by rising tenant demand and the sell-off in buy-to-let.
