According to Case-Shiller, annual house price growth in November edged up slightly to 6.2%, but we doubt it will rise much further. Buyers are staying away due to the lack of homes for sale and, with mortgage interest rates set to hit four-year highs over the next few weeks, house price gains this year are likely to be closer to 4%.
