With higher mortgage interest rates weighing on housing demand, it is not a surprise that the FHFA and Case-Shiller reported slower annual house price growth in September. We doubt mortgage rates have much further to rise but, with the economy set to slow over the next couple of years, house price growth will continue to fall.
