ISM Manufacturing Index (Mar.)

The modest rebound in the ISM manufacturing index to 55.3 in March, from 54.2, offers some reassurance that the US factory sector isn’t following its European counterpart off a cliff, although the details of the survey are still consistent with manufacturing output growth slowing sharply.
