Despite the rebound in the ISM manufacturing index to a five-month high of 49.5 in February, from 48.2, the factory sector continues to be battered by the strong dollar and weak global demand. The good news is that manufacturing is not getting weaker. At the same time, however, we don’t anticipate any meaningful recovery soon either.
