Regular readers of our research may be surprised by the more gloomy tone of this edition of the Commercial Property Analyst. For years, we have trumpeted the comparative attraction of property as an asset class. Even when property yields began to tumble in 2002, we argued that in real terms, and compared to bond yields, property still looked good value.
