Capital values to slide 5% in 2012

We think that UK GDP will be flat in 2012 as a whole, with a technical recession likely in H1. Accordingly, commercial property rental values are likely to fall next year and income security fears will push up required yields. Our forecast is that all-property capital values will decline by around 5% next year.
