RICS Construction Survey (Q2)

Today’s RICS Construction survey suggested that private sector activity was strong enough in Q2 to balance a decline in public sector output. Looking ahead, a slowdown in construction activity would not be a surprise. After all, credit remains tight and the economy weak. And the improvement in employment intentions in the sector has stalled, hardly a sign of bullish sentiment.
