While the RICS Construction Survey still points to a small decline in output in Q3, there was a marked improvement in the share of surveyors reporting a fall in construction workload. Expectations have become more upbeat too, but a tightening of credit conditions and deterioration in the economic outlook is likely to keep a lid on workload in the coming months.
