By volume, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity involving UK firms in Q3 dropped to levels last seen at the time of the credit crunch and deep recession in late 2008 and early 2009. These data, therefore, tend to add to our concerns about the health of Central London office tenant demand and the outlook for rents.
