IPF Consensus Forecasts (Q4)

The UK commercial property forecasting community thinks that rental values will rise every year until 2018 and by an average of about 2.5% p.a. But presumably reflecting expectations of a continued monetary policy tightening cycle, property yields are expected to rise modestly from 2016-18. We broadly share those views, but are more sanguine about the upside risks to yields over the medium term.
