The IPF Consensus forecast downgraded its forecasts for all-property total returns this year to 0.9% p.a.. Although the outcome of Brexit is likely to be an important driver of commercial property returns going forward, both our forecasts and those of the consensus suggest that weakness in the retail sector will weigh most on total returns.
