Transactions activity improves in October, but it may be a peak

Property Archive figures showed that, driven by a rise in the office sector, investment market activity improved again in October, increasing from £2.5bn in September to £2.8bn. Even so, anecdotal evidence suggests that transactions activity has fallen back again over the most recent few weeks, so it is possible that October’s figure could be a high-water mark.
