Deal activity fails to rebound

All-property rental values were flat again in May.  Rental values are currently around 11% below their 2008 peak.  Further significant falls seem unlikely.  Equally, however, we expect GDP growth to remain well below trend both this year and next, so it is far too early to be looking for a widespread recovery in rental values.
