It generally takes some time before changes in macroeconomic conditions are reflected in the property data. Thus, it’s not unusual for the tone of the economic and property data to differ as they did this month. Yet the bigger picture is that, with monetary policy looking set to tighten further next year, the upturn in values only has a little further to run.
